Hatt blocks the strikes from Mica.
Hatt working over Mica with some ground and pound. Mica looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hatt is taking a breather. Mica says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hatt winds up and cracks Mica with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hatt is working for a submission of some sort.

Hatt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mica is just riding it out for now. Hatt eventually gives up the hold.
Hatt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mica with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mica wants to get back to full guard.
Hatt works his way into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hatt connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mica some visible discomfort.
Mica tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hatt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mica tries to buck Hatt off but Hatt is having none of it.

Mica is looking to reverse the position.

Hatt has hold of Mica's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mica seems comfortable defending it but Hatt has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mica is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mica is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hatt couldn't care less - he's delighted!
