The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thrill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ribeiro throws a head kick but Thrill moves out of range.
Ribeiro chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Thrill misses with a takedown attempt - Ribeiro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ribeiro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thrill.
Ribeiro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thrill.
Ribeiro does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Thrill counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
