The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera checks the leg kick.
Cabrera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bealum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cabrera was covering up waiting for the punch and Bealum finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bealum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bealum keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cabrera's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

It looks like Raul Cabrera has been cut.
Bealum jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cabrera walks away with a smile on his face. Bealum gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cabrera moves out of range as Bealum throws a body kick.
Cabrera throws a body punch but Bealum moves out of range.
Bealum keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bealum paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bealum throws a looping overhand right but Cabrera ducks down to avoid it.
Bealum tries to clinch but Cabrera moves out of range.
Bealum tries to close the distance and clinch but Cabrera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Cabrera. No joy for Bealum on that attempt.
Cabrera fails with a takedown attempt.
Cabrera will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bealum misses with a double jab.
Bealum throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cabrera on the side of the head.
A slow jab from Bealum misses its intended target.
Cabrera is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bealum.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cabrera throws a head kick that Bealum semi-blocks.
Bealum slaps away a takedown attempt from Cabrera, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Cabrera is breathing heavily.

Bealum has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bealum cracks Cabrera with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Cabrera from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Bealum lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Bealum.

Cabrera is covering up but some of the strikes from Bealum are getting through and doing damage.

Raul Cabrera's cut is getting worse.
A helpless look comes across Cabrera 's face. He knows he's trapped as Bealum lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
