The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulahula throws a jab but it's blocked by Rage.
Hulahula throws a hook to the side of Rage's head but Rage sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A telegraphed right hand from Rage misses the target.
Rage staying out of range there.
Rage throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hulahula jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hulahula tests Rage's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A big left from Hulahula misses.
Hulahula tries to clinch up.
Hulahula looks to land a right hand but Rage moved out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Rage 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hulahula closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rage is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Hulahula throws a strike aimed at the side of Rage's head but Rage avoids it well.

Hulahula cracks Rage with an elbow. That is naaassty.

It looks like Wilson Rage has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rage regains half guard.
Hulahula wants to take a breather but Rage is having none of it.

Hulahula is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rage sees it coming and defends easily.

Hulahula is working for a kimura but Rage is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hulahula throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hulahula seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hulahula is looking to take a break and control but Rage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hulahula is stalling here. Rage is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hulahula seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rage has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Rage is trying to ground and pound but Hulahula uses the momentary lack of control by Rage to regain half guard.
Hulahula might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rage is trying to control the action in half guard but Hulahula is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rage prevents Hulahula from standing back up.
Hulahula scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rage manages to mount him!

Rage wants to get back to his feet but Hulahula is holding on tight.

Rage jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hulahula manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hulahula doesn't manage to clinch there - Rage circles away.
Hulahula throws a right hand that Rage ducks under and follows up with a left that Rage also avoids with ease.
Rage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hulahula.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hulahula drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hulahula throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rage works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hulahula lands a couple of elbows.
Rage working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hulahula.

Hulahula avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rage wants to sweep here but Hulahula controlling him for the moment.

Hulahula postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rage is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hulahula, into his guard.
Hulahula pulls Rage in close to prevent any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hulahula fails with a takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Rage.
Hulahula tries to clinch up but Rage circles away and keeps his distance.
Rage ducks under a wild hook from Hulahula.

Hulahula shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rage is desperately trying to improve his position but Hulahula has a good base and remains in mount.

Rage avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hulahula.

Wilson Rage's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wilson Rage's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
