Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Pegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garvan Grocz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grocz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stranglehold kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grocz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pegg's half guard.
Pegg missing with punches from the bottom.
Pegg wants to get back to full guard.
Pegg holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Grocz wants to control but Pegg is keeping him busy.
Pegg slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pegg tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Grocz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Pegg controls Grocz momentarily but Grocz frees himself.
Grocz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pegg uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Nice defenses there by Grocz.

Pegg avoids the body shot from Grocz.
Pegg throws an overhand right that lands on Grocz's shoulder, as Grocz tries to avoid the shot.
Grocz misses with a hook.
Pegg throws a lazy right hand but Grocz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pegg misses with a body punch
and Grocz counters with a right hand to the body.
Pegg uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Grocz moves out of range of the strikes.
Pegg misses the jab.
Pegg lands a left and a right that send Grocz crashing to the mat, dazed. Pegg thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Grocz is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pegg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grocz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Grocz is still on wobbly legs! Can Pegg finish him?
Pegg missing with a left hand there. Grocz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Grocz looks to land a left hand but Pegg moved out of range nicely.
Grocz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pegg is fending him off so far but Grocz persists. Nope, Pegg circles away and we're back to standing.
Pegg waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Grocz.
Grocz seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grocz missing with a left hand there. Pegg was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pegg cracks Grocz with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Grocz tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Pegg pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Grocz is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
