Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilbert Yvel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Yvel.

Boy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boy lands in his opponent's guard.
Boy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Yvel wants to stand and escape but Boy is having none of it.
Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Yvel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Boy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yvel loads up on a big right hand but Boy slips the punch.
Yvel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gilbert Yvel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yvel connects with a crisp jab.

Boy rushes Yvel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Boy tightens his grip and picks Yvel up, before dumping him to the ground. Yvel manages to land in guard.
Boy stops Yvel from standing up.
Boy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Boy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Yvel, up you get!
Yvel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Boy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yvel looks gassed!

Boy stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Yvel to get to his feet.
Yvel throws a nice looking combination but Boy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yvel throws a head kick but Boy moves out of range.

Yvel fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Boy checks it well.
Yvel has his takedown stuffed

and Boy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Yvel's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Yvel, up you get!

Boy clinches up with Yvel and pushes him back against the cage.
Boy lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Boy lands a left hand.

Boy lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Boy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Boy drops an elbow to the side of Yvel's head.
Boy is keen to just control but Yvel is a slippery customer.
Boy working over Yvel with some ground and pound. Yvel looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boy connects with a nice short shot to Yvel's temple.
Yvel scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Boy manages to mount him!
Boy tries to control but Yvel wriggling away.

Boy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
