Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zdeno Chara!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valchek uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chara.
Valchek looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Chara attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Chara tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Chara scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Chara throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Valchek lands with a kick to the temple. Chara shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Chara with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chara throws a nice outside leg kick.
Chara shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chara in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Valchek is trying to keep Chara in close.
Valchek keeping moving, preventing Chara from controlling successfully.
Chara might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Valchek kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chara's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Valchek utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Valchek is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chara rolls with it to try and escape but Valchek cranks on the arm and Chara is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
