The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mawal throws a head kick but Jenkins moves out of range.

Jenkins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with mawal, pushing him back against the cage.
mawal jumps guard but Jenkins stands there with mawal around his waist. mawal gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jenkins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
mawal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jenkins forces mawal back against the cage and clinches.

Jenkins jumps guard.

Jenkins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead mawal passes into half guard.

mawal is looking for a kimura but Jenkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for mawal to get the leverage.

mawal seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jenkins is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
