Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mofirga is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Crockett throws a body punch but Mofirga moves out of range.
Mofirga throws a front kick aimed at Crockett's knee but Crockett avoids it well.
Crockett lands a left and a right that send Mofirga crashing to the mat, dazed. Crockett thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mofirga is rocked!
It looks like Gilberto Mofirga has been cut.
Mofirga misses with a few strikes there.
Mofirga moves in looking to clinch but Crockett pushes him off.
Crockett tries a head kick but it misses.
Crockett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mofirga's guard.
Crockett is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crockett forces his way into half guard.

Mofirga is defending against the submission attempts here by Crockett.

Crockett is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Crockett in particular looking to stall.

Crockett's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Crockett thows a huge punch but Mofirga dodges it nicely.
Still in half guard, Crockett seems content to control.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Davy Crockett just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Mofirga wants to clinch up but Crockett keeps it at a distance.
Mofirga tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crockett paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mofirga fails with an attempt to clinch.
Crockett swats away the attempt to clinch by Mofirga.
Crockett throws a sloppy head kick and Mofirga moves out of range easily.
Crockett scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Crockett remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Crockett is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mofirga is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Crockett tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crockett has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Crockett has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mofirga!
Crockett wants to take Mofirga's back but he can't do it this time.

Crockett has hold of Mofirga's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mofirga manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Crockett is going olschool here, as he tries to force Mofirga to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mofirga shrugs it off.

Crockett wants to control the pace but Mofirga is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crockett is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Crockett avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Crockett keeps the fight on the outside.
Crockett pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crockett lands a big head kick that sends Mofirga tumbling to the mat! Crockett takes a step backwards and waves Mofirga back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mofirga is still on wobbly legs! Can Crockett finish him?
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Crockett! This one is all over!
