The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walkerton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marcus is fending him off so far but Walkerton persists. Nope, Marcus circles away and we're back to standing.
Marcus connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Walkerton's hands.
The fighters circle momentarily. Marcus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Michael Walkerton has been cut.
Marcus punishes Walkerton's body with a nice straight punch.
Marcus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Walkerton. Walkerton circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marcus digs a good body shot into Walkerton's ribs.

Walkerton takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Marcus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Marcus is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Walkerton rather than just go for the knockout.
Walkerton walks into a jab.
Marcus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Walkerton on the side of the head.
Marcus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Marcus drops Walkerton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Walkerton looks back up at him and smiles so Marcus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Marcus drops Walkerton with a naaaaasty hook - Walkerton is in real trouble here! Marcus dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
