Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wong Dongson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Wong Dongson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Dongson misses.

Adams has managed to clinch.
Adams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dongson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Adams is pressed up against the cage. Dongson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Adams down to the mat. Adams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dongson throws a right and a left that Adams avoids nicely.

Dongson fails to land with a series of punches.
Adams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dongson's waist but Dongson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Adams off to one side.

Adams moves into range and clinches up with Dongson.
Adams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Wong Dongson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Adams.
Dongson wants to break the clinch but can't.

Dongson jumps guard but Adams stands there with Dongson around his waist. Dongson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dongson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Adams can't fight it off and eventually Dongson manages to take the fight to the floor. Adams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dongson is controlling him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adams can do anything to dispel that myth.

Adams scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Dongson is breathing heavily.
Dongson is refusing to be controlled, as Adams sits in half guard.
Dongson is trying to stand back up but Adams is controlling him
Dongson wants to control but Adams is keeping busy.
Adams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Adams drops an elbow to the side of Dongson's head.
Adams uses his free foot to push down on Dongson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dongson.
Adams lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Adams is landing with some decent strikes but Dongson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Adams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dongson is trying desperately to improve position.
