Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between scot jenkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rousimar Palahares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palahares closes this distance looking for a takedown but jenkin circles away.
Palahares misses with a double jab.

jenkin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Palahares tries to get to full guard but jenkin has control of the leg.

Palahares is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but jenkin pulls his head out easily.
Palahares tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Palahares wants to control but jenkin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
jenkin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
