The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Zabitz is fending him off so far but Barker persists. Nope, Zabitz circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barker.
Zabitz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zabitz blocks a head kick by Barker.
Barker doesn't manage to clinch there - Zabitz circles away.
Barker on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Zabitz. Zabitz obviously looking to wear him down.
Barker goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Eli Zabitz has been cut.
A low kick from Barker is predictable there
and Zabitz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barker throws a body kick the misses
and Zabitz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Barker tries to clinch up but Zabitz circles away and keeps his distance.

Barker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zabitz swivels and escapes.
Eli Zabitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Barker.
Zabitz stuffs the takedown attempt from Barker. Barker gets slowly back to his feet.
Barker looks gassed!
Barker tries for a takedown but Zabitz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zabitz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zabitz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zabitz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Zabitz scoring well with a low kick there.
Zabitz connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Barker! He's out on his feet! Zabitz rushes in and drops Barker with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
