Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gailfus misses with a wild combination.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gailfus is trying to control the action in half guard but Daniels is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Daniels gets caught flat footed, as Gailfus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Daniels pulls Gailfus in close to his closed guard and prevents Gailfus from doing any damage or advancing position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gailfus feints and as Daniels raises his hands in defense, Gailfus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gailfus goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gailfus wants to clinch
and Daniels counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gailfus won't be happy with that.
Gailfus is trying to work for a sweep but Daniels has mounted him!
Daniels gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Gailfus shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Daniels counters by clinching up.

Daniels tries to pull guard but Gailfus holds him up against the cage and eventually Daniels drops back down to his feet.

Gailfus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Daniels drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Daniels seems to have locked his on tight now - Gailfus screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Daniels, as he picks up the win!
