The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pratt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Anthony Pratt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pratt lands a nice shot that snaps Penn's head back.

It looks like Steel Penn has been cut.
Pratt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Penn manages to avoid it.
Pratt misses with a jab, cross combination.

Pratt fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Penn is out of range.

Pratt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Penn on the side of the head.

Penn tries to clinch up but Pratt circles away and keeps his distance.
Pratt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Penn moves forwards but Pratt connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pratt keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pratt works over Penn's head and body with a nice combination.

That has opened up Steel Penn's cut even more.
Pratt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Penn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pratt tries to land a leg kick but Penn saw it coming and moves away.

Pratt throws a solid leg kick but Penn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pratt.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Penn has eaten all the pies!

Pratt postures up in Penn's guard and throws a big left but Penn blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Penn is working an open guard so Pratt takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Pratt thumps Penn with a low kick.

Pratt drops Penn with a left and a right! Oh, Penn is hurt - Pratt dives into side control looking to finish!

The cut above Steel Penn's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pratt misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Pratt tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Pratt is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Penn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Penn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pratt is controlling him well.

Steel Penn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
