Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henrik Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Rafael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Carlos Rafael enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Rafael!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafael avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters circling a little - Larsson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Larsson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rafael fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rafael tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Larsson counters with an outside leg kick.
Larsson is looking to clinch but Rafael is avoiding it.
A combination from Larsson does no damage.
Rafael lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Larsson at a distance.
Larsson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Rafael feints and as Larsson raises his hands in defense, Rafael changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Larsson is trying to control the position but Rafael postures up.
Larsson pulls Rafael in close to his closed guard and prevents Rafael from doing any damage or advancing position.
Larsson is looking to stand up but Rafael isn't so interested in that idea.

Rafael trying to control the position from guard on top but Larsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rafael is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Rafael throws and elbow that misses. Larsson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rafael's guard. Nice move by Larsson!

Rafael working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Larsson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Larsson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rafael manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rafael tries to control but Larsson wriggling away.
Rafael sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Rafael throws some wild stikes that Larsson manages to avoid easily.

Rafael gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Rafael thows a body shot but no joy.

Rafael shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Larsson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rafael stops Larsson from standing up.

Rafael postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Larsson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rafael, into his guard.
Larsson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Rafael has a closed guard, preventing Larsson from standing up.
Rafael throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Rafael looking for a triangle here. Larsson is fighting it but it looks tight! Rafael pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Larsson is tapping out - this one is all over!
