Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Nicolosi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Beaulieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicolosi comes to the cage accompanied by Step Down. Beaulieu has chosen Anonymus - Prosternez-vous as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mauricio Nicolosi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicolosi shoots in for a takedown but Beaulieu shows good takedown defense.
Nicolosi gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nicolosi trying to control the position but Beaulieu is working away.
Nicolosi throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Nicolosi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beaulieu keeps working.
An elbow from Nicolosi crashes against the mat.

Nicolosi has control of an arm but Beaulieu manages to advance to Nicolosi's back!
Nicolosi tries to escape the position.

Beaulieu is trying to stick to Nicolosi's back but Nicolosi is turning into Beaulieu. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Beaulieu's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nicolosi.
Nicolosi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nicolosi frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Poor strikes thrown by Nicolosi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Beaulieu is in all sorts of trouble here.
Beaulieu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Beaulieu holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Nicolosi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Beaulieu tries to hold on but Nicolosi postures up.
Nicolosi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Beaulieu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nicolosi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nicolosi jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Beaulieu manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Beaulieu tries to buck Nicolosi off but Nicolosi is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nicolosi tries to score with some ground and pound. Beaulieu controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Nicolosi throws an elbow but Beaulieu slips to the side and avoids it well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nicolosi takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nicolosi misses with a takedown attempt - Beaulieu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Beaulieu. That snapped Nicolosi's head back.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Beaulieu takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Beaulieu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nicolosi.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mauricio Nicolosi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beaulieu misses with a straight left.

Nicolosi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Beaulieu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Beaulieu lands a really nice looking cross but Nicolosi seems unphased.
Pat Beaulieu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice body punch from Beaulieu.
Nicolosi tries to clinch but Beaulieu is having none of it.
Beaulieu lands with a right hand.
Beaulieu lands a slapping body shot.
Beaulieu stuns Nicolosi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Beaulieu connects with a superb combination that knocks Nicolosi out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Beaulieu before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Nicolosi!
