Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilpo Larha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripper comes into the arena with The Odorants - This Night blaring out of the sound system. Jack Ripper has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Larha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Larha seems to be working for a kimura but Ripper defends the submission attempt.
Ripper avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Larha.

Ripper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Larha pulls his head out easily.
Ripper is looking for a sweep. Larha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Larha thows a huge punch but Ripper dodges it nicely.
Ripper manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larha lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Ripper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Larha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Larha throws and elbow that misses. Ripper uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Larha's guard. Nice move by Ripper!

Ripper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ripper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Larha looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ripper wants to stand but Larha has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Ripper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Larha swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Larha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ripper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ripper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Larha looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ripper is one step ahead there.
Ripper would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Ripper stands up and waves to Larha to follow him.
Ripper misses with a two punch combination.

It looks like Ilpo Larha has been cut.

Larha looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ripper!
Larha can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ripper is looking to escape.
