The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald slips a jab from Dijieo.
Dijieo throws out a leg kick but McDonald moves out of range and Dijieo only half commits.
McDonald tries to clinch but Dijieo moves out of range.
Dijieo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McDonald.

It looks like Petru Dijieo has been cut.
McDonald thumps Dijieo with a low kick.
A big left from Dijieo misses.
McDonald uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dijieo.
The fighters circling - Dijieo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McDonald tries to clinch but Dijieo is having none of it.
Petru Dijieo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dijieo misses the jab.
Dijieo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McDonald's head backwards.

It looks like Ronald McDonald has been cut.
Dijieo throws out a loose jab but McDonald uses good head movement to avoid it.
McDonald moves out of range of the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dijieo is defended easily by McDonald.
Dijieo misses with an uppercut. McDonald saw that one coming.
McDonald steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dijieo.
Ronald McDonald is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dijieo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dijieo throws the left hand but McDonald avoids the punch easily.
McDonald throws out a powerful jab.

Dijieo is rocked!
McDonald circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Dijieo tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! McDonald wins by KO!
