Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fighter Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fighter Guy!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller moves out of range of the strikes.
Miller looks to land a left hand but Guy moved out of range nicely.
Miller swings for the body but Guy moves out of range.
Guy fails with the takedown.
Guy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Miller.
Miller throws a hook but Guy blocks it.
Miller lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Miller.


It looks like Fighter Guy has been cut.
Guy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A big left from Miller misses.
Guy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice defenses there by Guy.
Nice uppercut lands for Miller. That snapped Guy's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Miller throws a sloppy body shot
and Guy counters with an inside leg kick.

Miller misses with a looping right.
Guy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Miller throws a jab but it's blocked by Guy.
Miller loads up on a big right hand but Guy slips the punch.
Matt Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Guy finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Miller is trying to control the position but Guy postures up.

Guy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miller dives on top into guard.
Miller thows a big elbow that misses.

Guy is trying to keep Miller in close.
Guy keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully.
Guy wants to sweep but no luck.

Miller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Miller wants to pass the guard but Guy is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Miller throws a nice looking combination but Guy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Guy wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance.

Guy misses with a low kick as Miller jumps back.
Guy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Miller but Miller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Miller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Miller misses with a hook. Guy ducked under it nicely.
Miller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Guy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Miller.
Miller misses with a hook to the body
and Guy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller looks to land a right hand but Guy moved out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller throws out a loose jab but Guy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guy throws a hook but Miller blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Matt Miller will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Fighter Guy's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Guy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Guy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Guy tries to control but Miller wriggling away.

Miller avoids a series of strikes thrown by Guy.
Guy throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Guy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miller is looking to escape.

Guy goes for an armbar but Miller turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Miller.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Miller is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Guy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Guy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Guy controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself.

Guy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Guy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there.
Guy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Miller wants to get back to full guard.
Miller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Miller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Guy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fighter Guy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Guy throws a leg kick but Miller sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Guy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Guy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Miller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Miller throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Guy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Miller checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Guy throws a right and a left that Miller avoids nicely.
Miller misses with a shot to the body
and Guy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Miller throws the left hand but Guy avoids the punch easily.
Miller looks to land a combination but Guy avoids it well.
Fighter Guy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Miller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Guy.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Guy, right into the meat.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Miller is refusing to be controlled, as Guy sits in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Miller throws out a loose jab but Guy uses good head movement to avoid it.

Miller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Miller throws a shot from downtown. Guy moves away and avoids it.
Miller scores with a nice strike.

Fighter Guy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Guy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
