Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Samoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qwis Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samoth comes into the arena with Judas Priest - Painkiller blaring out of the sound system. Rey has chosen Murder was the case as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Samoth lands with a left to the head.

Samoth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rey on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Qwis Rey has been cut.
Samoth throws a chopping leg kick but Rey manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Samoth.

Samoth throws a shot to the body.
Samoth scores with a nice strike.
Rey's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Rey duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Rey misses with a few strikes there.
Samoth lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rey's sensitive parts.

Samoth closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Samoth lands in his opponent's guard.

Samoth thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Samoth keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rey's head.
Samoth is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Samoth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rey tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Samoth postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rey looks a forlorn figure.
