Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Envy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Burn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Envy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Converge - Dark Horse. Noah Burn acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Burn!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Envy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Burn.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Burn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A head kick misses from Envy.
Envy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Burn sends Envy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Burn is motioning to the referee to let Envy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Lazarus Envy has been cut.
Burn throws a body punch but Envy moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Envy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Envy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Envy tries to circle away but Burn has him pinned against the cage.

Burn gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Burn trying to control but Envy is working from the bottom.
Burn stops Envy from standing up.

Burn stands and steps away. Envy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Envy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Burn.

Burn has managed to clinch.
Burn tries for a takedown but Envy manages to get underhooks.
Envy looking to throw knees to the head but Burn is blocking nicely.
Envy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lazarus Envy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Envy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Burn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Envy is breathing heavily.

Burn closes the distance and pushes Envy back into the cage.
Envy tries to score a body lock takedown but Burn shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

With the fighters up against the cage, Envy throws an elbow but misses.

and Burn counters with a straight right hand.

Lazarus Envy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burn misses the jab.
Envy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Envy takes one to the side of the head.

Burn gets a clinch.

Burn has clasped his hands together around Envy's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Envy tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
