Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Bronca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Tierg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bronca might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Me ponen esta cancioncitasi es que gano. Jackson Tierg looks lathargic as he enters the arena. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Tierg!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronca feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bronca controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tierg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bronca is one step ahead there.
Tierg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tierg is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bronca passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bronca wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tierg keeps working.

Bronca tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bronca is looking to take a break and control but Tierg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bronca is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tierg has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bronca is looking for the choke from the back position but Tierg is controlling his hands well.

Tierg is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bronca gets his way!

Horrible takedown by Bronca or perhaps it was just good defense by Tierg which made him look bad.

Bronca wants to work for an arm triangle but Tierg is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tierg wants to get back to his feet but Bronca drags him back down.

Bronca has hold of Tierg's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tierg manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bronca wants to finish this one by submission but Tierg is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bronca.

Bronca drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bronca is pushing down on Tierg's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tierg is fighting to maintain full guard but Bronca has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bronca stalling away here and it's allowed Tierg to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Tierg is looking to sweep but instead, Bronca has passed into half guard.
Bronca is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tierg!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tierg takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bronca is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tierg can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bronca cracks Tierg with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
