Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Vicksone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Takanahana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicksone kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is m.o.v.e - DOGFIGHT. Takanahana has chosen Dillinger Escape Plan - 43% Burnt as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yoshi Takanahana was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vicksone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vicksone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Takanahana looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Takanahana's face as Vicksone controls the position.
Vicksone decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vicksone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vicksone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Takanahana is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Vicksone takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Takanahana throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Takanahana misses with a wild body shot.
Vicksone clinches up with Takanahana and pushes him back against the cage.
Vicksone can't get the takedown.
Vicksone has clasped his hands together around Takanahana's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The strikes coming from Vicksone are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Vicksone decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Takanahana swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Takanahana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Vicksone moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Vicksone is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Vicksone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vicksone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Yoshi Takanahana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Takanahana is looking to stand up but Vicksone isn't so interested in that idea.

Well Vicksone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
