Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mac Paining (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLeod throws a right and a left that Paining avoids nicely.
A right-left combo lands from MacLeod.

MacLeod feints and as Paining raises his hands in defense, MacLeod changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Paining seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Paining wants to sweep here but MacLeod controlling him for the moment.

MacLeod seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paining does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Paining knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MacLeod on the ground.

MacLeod is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Paining defends it well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

MacLeod will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Paining really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

MacLeod is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Paining's shoulder. That is not cool.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paining takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
MacLeod tries to move to mount but Paining blocks the move with his legs.

MacLeod is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Paining has escaped the position, nice work there.
MacLeod advances to full mount.
Paining is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

MacLeod goes for an armbar but Paining turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Paining.

Paining is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, MacLeod has taken his back.

MacLeod has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Paining has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
