Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dana Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen We Gon Rock as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Cage misses its intended target.
Cage tries to clinch but Black moves out of range.
Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Black tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cage was well out of range. Poor timing from Black.
Cage showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Black.
Cage lands a really nice looking cross but Black seems unphased.

It looks like Dana Black has been cut.
Cage misses with a double jab
and Black counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Luke Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cage takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Black moves out of range as Cage strikes.
Black throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cage counters by clinching up.
Cage lands with a left to the head.
Cage makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Black wants to break the clinch but can't.
Black wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cage has him pressed against the cage.
Cage throws a head punch that misses.
Black tries to circle away but Cage has him pinned against the cage.
Black blocking some punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cage.

Cage lands a shoulder strike.
Cage doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That has opened up Dana Black's cut even more.

Cage throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Blacks head.
Cage lands a nice uppercut.

Cage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Black throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cage counters with a straight right hand.

The cut above Dana Black's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Black swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Cage counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cage lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Dana Black's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Cage cracks Black with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Black looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cage finish him?

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dana Black's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
