Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deiter Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sterling Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deiter Myers!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers blocks a jab.

Myers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jordan to the mat! Jordan manages to get full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jordan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Myers on the ground.

Jordan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Myers's head.

Myers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Myers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jordan defends it easily.
Jordan cracks Myers with a solid left hand.

Myers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sterling Jordan will probably get the nod.

It looks like Deiter Myers has been cut.
Myers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jordan defends it nicely.

Myers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Deiter Myers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jordan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Myers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jordan, as that shot connected.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
