PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Pikachu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bowman Dell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pikachu comes to the cage accompanied by The Pikachu Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dell throws a right and a left that Pikachu avoids nicely.
Pikachu misses with a jab, cross combination.

Pikachu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dell's half guard.
Dell is holding on to half guard well.
Pikachu tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Dell is trying to maintain the position but Pikachu is very close to passing his half guard.
Pikachu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pikachu seems to be working for a kimura but Dell defends the submission attempt.

Pikachu is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dell feints and then cracks Pikachu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pikachu down.
Dell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pikachu's head backwards.

Pikachu throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dell was covering up waiting for the punch and Pikachu finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pikachu is breathing heavily.
Dell is trying to control the position but Pikachu postures up.

Pikachu won't allow Dell to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pikachu backs up against the cage.
An inside leg kick lands from Dell.
Dell misses with a combination
and Pikachu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dell throws a nice looking combination but Pikachu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dell lands with a right hand.

Pikachu is rocked!
Dell connects with a superb combination that knocks Pikachu out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Dell before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Pikachu!
