The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabian misses with a takedown attempt - Wells sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fabian shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wells moves in looking to clinch but Fabian pushes him off.

Wells shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wells was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wells wants to take Fabian's back here but Fabian is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Wells jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fabian is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fabian and Wells has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Wells is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fabian has escaped the position, nice work there.
Fabian should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
