Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buffalo Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Mallett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill pivots, looking for a leg kick but Mallett is out of range and Bill settles back down.
Bill throws a head kick that misses.
Bill fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mallett but Mallett pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mallett throws the left hand but Bill avoids the punch easily.
Bill misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fighters circling - Mallett throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bill is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Mallett is trying to get an arm triangle but Bill is defending well.
Bill seems to have got his legs back now.
Mallett has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mallett remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Bill tries to hold on but Mallett pushes him away.

Mallett seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Mallett lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mallett postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bill looks a forlorn figure.

Bill is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mallett locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bill is forced to tap!
