Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Heartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Bede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heartman's entrance music is Heartman Theme song. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bede throws a right and a left that Heartman avoids nicely.
Heartman misses with a looping left.

Heartman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Heartman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bede is trying to defend but Heartman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bede is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Heartman is working for a kimura but Bede is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Heartman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bede doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Heartman.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heartman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bede does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bede wants to control but Heartman is keeping busy.

Bede has his hands clasped together around Heartman's back. He's all about the action.

Bede throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heartman's waist but Heartman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bede off to one side.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Heartman tries to improve position but can't.
The referee asks Bede politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bede prefers to stall for the moment though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
