Deal comes to the cage accompanied by Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction. Bob Lawler has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Al Deal's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Deal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Lawler!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Bob Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Deal clinches.

Lawler is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Deal can't fight it off and eventually Lawler manages to take the fight to the floor. Deal looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

and Deal counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Al Deal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Lawler.

Lawler takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

and Deal holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Deal has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lawler clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
