The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Akyat drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Akyat has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Katsu is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Akyat yanks on the arm and Katsu is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Akyat.
