PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Nedram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewayne Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nedram comes into the arena with Stupidify blaring out of the sound system. Carter has chosen Lil Wayne as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nedram throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carter's waist but Carter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nedram off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nedram looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Nedram changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Nedram manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nedram shoots in looking for a takedown. Carter tries to sprawl out of it but Nedram keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nedram slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Nedram seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carter for as long as he can get away with.
