Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina just misses with a punch to the body.
Welch fails to land with a series of punches.
Medina wants to clinch up but Welch keeps it at a distance.
Welch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Welch displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Medina.

Welch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Medina swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Welch counters with a series of strikes. Medina will be more careful next time no doubt.
Medina has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Welch finds it's way round the side to connect with Medina's head.

Medina missing with a left hand there. Welch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Medina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Welch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Medina shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Welch as he avoids it easily.
Welch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Medina throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Welch misses with a double jab.
Welch lands with a nice combination. Medina backs away looking to recover.
Medina clinches but Welch breaks the clinch
and Welch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Medina fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Welch lands a hook that stumbles Medina back into the ropes. Welch follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Medina to the canvas! Welch pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Medina has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
