Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Zodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaxson Leffler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zodd comes into the arena with Welcome to the jungle by Guns and Roses blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Zodd as Leffler shoots in.
Zodd feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Zodd is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Leffler has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Zodd off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Zodd shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Leffler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Zodd wants to control but Leffler is keeping him busy.
Zodd wants to pass to mount but Leffler is defending the position.
Leffler is trying to stand.
Zodd wants to free his trapped foot but Leffler is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Leffler wants to get back to his feet.

Zodd not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Zodd stuffs the takedown.
Zodd shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Zodd was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Zodd controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leffler is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Leffler is trying to escape the mount but Zodd keeps good control and instead manages to take Leffler's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zodd is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Leffler has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
