Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between It Kiefa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Perqelez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perqelez has chosen cool caribbean beats as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Perqelez.

Kiefa tries to close the distance and clinch but Perqelez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kiefa is not content to let Perqelez control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kiefa is pushing Perqelez's head away, looking to escape. Perqelez manages to hold on to the position though.
Perqelez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kiefa down.
Perqelez is staying tight to Kiefa's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Perqelez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kiefa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

and Perqelez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kiefa's guard.
Perqelez wants to pass the guard but Kiefa is keeping the position.
Perqelez is pushing down on Kiefa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kiefa is fighting to maintain full guard but Perqelez has managed to sneak the leg through.
Perqelez moves into full mount! Kiefa won't be happy about that!

Perqelez is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Perqelez has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kiefa has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
