PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Broqui Lesmar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghoul Ghotha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesmar comes to the cage accompanied by SMC Hoodrats. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ghoul Ghotha was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesmar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ghotha napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ghotha is looking to regain half guard here but Lesmar keeps moving and retains side control.

Lesmar looks up at the clock and then as Ghotha takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lesmar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Ghotha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lesmar tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Ghotha has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Ghotha is working for a guillotine from mount but Lesmar frees his head quite easily.

You get the feeling that Lesmar really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Ghotha lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Ghotha pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like Broqui Lesmar has been cut.
Lesmar is breathing heavily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
