Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Piotrowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sgt Parrotface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, William Piotrowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sgt Parrotface!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piotrowski tries to land a front kick but Parrotface steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Parrotface keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Parrotface feints and as Piotrowski raises his hands in defense, Parrotface changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Parrotface must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Piotrowski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Parrotface stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Piotrowski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Parrotface should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Piotrowski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Parrotface is aware though and is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Parrotface decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Piotrowski's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piotrowski is breathing heavily.

Let's hope that Parrotface has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Piotrowski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Parrotface stacks Piotrowski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Parrotface!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Parrotface decides to stand up, so the ref orders Piotrowski to his feet.
Piotrowski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Parrotface is looking to take a break and control but Piotrowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sgt Parrotface just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Parrotfaceis looking to pass into half guard but Piotrowski pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Piotrowski is in guard.

Piotrowski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Parrotface can't keep his opponent in guard - Piotrowski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Parrotface is staying active underneath Piotrowski, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Sgt Parrotface has got the better of the ground game so far.
Parrotface regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Piotrowski.

Parrotface lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Piotrowski!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Parrotface is going olschool here, as he tries to force Piotrowski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Piotrowski shrugs it off.
Piotrowski wants to control but Parrotface is having none of it.
Parrotface prevents Piotrowski from getting the reversal.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sgt Parrotface showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Sgt Parrotface comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Parrotface has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
