Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BC Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Paint it Black. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hawkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Combs tries to avoid it but Hawkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Combs to the ground. Combs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Combs fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Combs thuds a left hand into Hawkins's body.
Combs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Combs tries to close the distance and clinch but Hawkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No luck for Hawkins with that takedown attempt.
Combs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hawkins tries to avoid it but Combs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hawkins to the ground. Hawkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
BC Hawkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Combs.
Hawkins tries a head kick but it misses.
Hawkins looks to land a combination but Combs avoids it well.

Hawkins has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Combs has passed into side control.
Combs content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Combs throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Combs has hold of Hawkins's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hawkins tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Combs cranks the arm and Hawkins screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hawkins, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
