Varga has chosen Static X - Destroyer as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Varga gets caught flat footed, as xavier shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

xavier drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Varga dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Varga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with xavier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

xavier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Varga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Varga stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. xavier swivels though and keeps the full guard.

xavier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Varga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
