The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from CAPETA.
CAPETA shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
CAPETA misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JHONNES CAPETA.
Silva looks to land a left hand but CAPETA moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but CAPETA slips the punch.
CAPETA tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva throws a hook but CAPETA avoids it easily.

CAPETA is working for takedown but Silva is calmly controlling the position for now.
CAPETA goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silva prevents it.

Silva lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Silva.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silva misses with a body shot.
Silva swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by CAPETA.
The fighters circle, before Silva throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into CAPETA's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Silva lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
