The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
smith fails with the takedown.
smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hughes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hughes throws a head kick that misses.

Hughes lands a head kick. smith smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like corrado smith has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
