Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beasty Kannegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Izreal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kannegaard comes to the cage accompanied by Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become . Izreal has chosen In The Morning as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Izreal swats away the attempt to clinch by Kannegaard.
Kannegaard punishes Izreal's body with a nice straight punch.
A combination from Kannegaard does no damage.

Kannegaard rushes Izreal and presses him up against the cage.

Kannegaard breaks from the clinch.

Kannegaard scores with a nice hook to the head.

Izreal has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kannegaard regains guard immediately.
Izreal looking to sit in guard and control but Kannegaard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kannegaard stands up and waves to Izreal to follow him.
Kannegaard fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kannegaard closes the distance and pushes Izreal back into the cage.

Kannegaard is struggling to control the position.

Kannegaard lands a body punch.
Izreal tries to pull guard but Kannegaard holds him up against the cage and eventually Izreal drops back down to his feet.
Izreal throws a punch but it's blocked by Kannegaard.
Izreal wants a takedown.

Kannegaard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kannegaard keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Beasty Kannegaard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Izreal.
Izreal closes the distance but Kannegaard moves to the side

and Kannegaard counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Izreal is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kannegaard gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Izreal has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kannegaard is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kannegaard lands a shoulder strike.
Izreal drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kannegaard gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Izreal looks gassed!

Kannegaard breaks the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kannegaard.
