Kuassimo comes to the cage accompanied by Dejale Caer Todo El Peso. Breaker has chosen Disturbed - Indestructible as his entrance music. Aschen Breaker has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Breaker moves into the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Breaker obliges.

Kuassimo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kuassimo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Breaker pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Breaker is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Breaker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kuassimo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kuassimo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kuassimo tries to get out of the position.
Breaker lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Breaker stands and throws Kuassimo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Breaker grinds an elbow into Kuassimo's temple.
Breaker creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Breaker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Breaker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Breaker moves into full mount!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Breaker working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuassimo tries to buck Breaker off but he can't manage it.
Breaker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Breaker avoids the attempt from Kuassimo to control.
Breaker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Breaker feints and as Kuassimo raises his hands in defense, Breaker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Breaker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kuassimo keeps working.
Breaker has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
