Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between J K (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helio Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helio Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
K is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gonzalez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
K takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
K could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gonzalez scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gonzalez just misses with a punch to the body.
K shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense.

It looks like J K has been cut.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for K. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Gonzalez stalks K and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into K's face. K staggers backwards, shaken.
Gonzalez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Crunch! Gonzalez slams his shin into K's torso.

Gonzalez bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Gonzalez finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Gonzalez scoring with strikes but K is staying in there.
Gonzalez is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. K can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


K is rocked!
K in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Oh K is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gonzalez loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have K scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gonzalez land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gonzalez stands and salutes the crowd.
