Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes has chosen Sandman Theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mack knocks Hayes to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Joe Hayes has been cut.
Mack in side control, throwing shots but Hayes defends.
Mack throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Hayes is trying to control Mack's posture but Mack avoids it.
Mack postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hayes can't do much from the bottom here.
Mack throws a strike aimed at the side of Hayes's head but Hayes avoids it well.
Mack in side control lands a decent elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mack creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hayes sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Mack tries to move to mount but Hayes blocks the move with his legs.
Hayes can't do much from the bottom here.
Mack throws an elbow but Hayes slips to the side and avoids it well.
Hayes stops Mack from passing to mount.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hayes blocks a head kick by Mack.
Mack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mack lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hayes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hayes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hayes closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mack did well to prevent Hayes getting side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mack makes his way to full guard, as Hayes worked for a kimura.
Hayes passes Mack's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hayes thows a huge punch but Mack dodges it nicely.

Hayes is working for a kimura but Mack is defending it quite comfortably.
Mack wants to improve his position but Hayes is controlling well.

Hayes is working for an americana but Mack has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Hayes was thinking about the submission.

Hayes pushes down on Mack's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Hayes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mack working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hayes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hayes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hayes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hayes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mack is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Hayes frees his head nicely. Oh but Mack has switched to an armbar! Hayes is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
