Sackett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Highway to Hell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fedor Finklestein could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tyrel Sackett's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Finklestein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrel Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finklestein moves out of range as Sackett strikes.
Sackett misses with a jab, cross combination.
Finklestein looks to throw the jab but Sackett is out of range.
Sackett connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


It looks like Fedor Finklestein has been cut.
Sackett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Finklestein decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sackett is looking to improve his position.
Finklestein sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sackett defending well though.
Sackett is looking to control Finklestein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sackett avoid being mounted?
Finklestein passes the guard and advances to mount!
Sackett is looking to improve his position but Finklestein isn't that keen on the idea.
Sackett is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Finklestein scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sackett?
The referee warns Sackett that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sackett sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Finklestein thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sackett avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Finklestein.
Sackett is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Finklestein's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Finklestein's back!
Sackett is trying to stick to Finklestein's back but Finklestein is turning into Sackett. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sackett's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Finklestein.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sackett is on top in guard.
Finklestein scores with a nice shot.
Sackett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Finklestein manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sackett manages to get himself to full guard.
Finklestein throws a strike but Sackett rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sackett sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Finklestein's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sackett passes to full mount!
Finklestein is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sackett blocks Finklestein's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Sackett lands a nice shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sackett pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sackett looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Sackett dominating with strikes here.
Finklestein throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Sackett lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


Finklestein is rocked!
Sackett avoids the attempt from Finklestein to control.
Sackett loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Finklestein scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sackett land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sackett stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyrel Sackett!
