Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincini Rossini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deacon Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Vincini Rossini has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vincini Rossini seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rossini closes the distance and clinches.
Anthony wants a takedown but no success here.

Rossini has Anthony pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rossini pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Anthony tumbling to the mat - Rossini dives into Anthony's guard.

Rossini gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rossini lands a nice hook to Anthony's body. Anthony takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Anthony looks gassed!

Rossini shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rossini knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anthony on the ground.

Rossini with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Rossini gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Rossini is trying to control. Anthony wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Anthony has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Rossini escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Rossini!

Anthony tries to bench press Rossini off him but Rossini keeps the position.

Rossini wants to stand but Anthony has his arm trapped.
Rossini works to advance to full mount. Anthony defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Rossini can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Anthony is looking to escape.

Rossini is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Anthony has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Anthony!

Anthony sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rossini's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rossini wants to get back to full guard.
Anthony has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Anthony seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Rossini is holding on tight.
Rossini tries to hold on but Anthony postures up.
Rossini working to try and regain half guard.

Anthony looking for a guillotine from mount but Rossini is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anthony goes for an armbar but Rossini turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rossini.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anthony gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Rossini moves into the clinch.

Rossini jumps guard and drags Anthony to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Rossini is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anthony defends well.
Rossini is trying to control the position but Anthony postures up.
Anthony wants to control from the top but Rossini keeps moving.

Anthony drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rossini manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Anthony has Rossini in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rossini got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anthony has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rossini has managed to get both his arms back between Anthony's legs - danger averted.
