Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Filipino Assassin!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Napier throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Assassin.
Kris Napier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Napier wants to clinch up but Assassin keeps it at a distance.
Napier misses with a head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Napier finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Napier tries to clinch but Assassin is having none of it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Napier.
Napier lands a head kick. Assassin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Assassin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Napier sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Napier defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Assassin.
Assassin looks gassed!

Assassin tries for a takedown but Napier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kris Napier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filipino Assassin.
Napier cracks Assassin with an open hand slap.
Kris Napier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Napier lands with a slapping head kick.
Napier lands with a big left! Assassin is wobbled badly! Napier comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Assassin to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
